Welcome panel

Version 1.0.2 · on the server since 13 October 2026 (first version 12 October 2026)

When you connect to the server, instead of plain text you see the Midgard Europe welcome image with seven rules. CONTINUE takes you into the game, LEAVE SERVER disconnects you. Both buttons work even if the image doesn’t load.

The Midgard Europe welcome panel with the server rules

The image is downloaded from this website over secure HTTPS. That’s what fixed the display on the Steam Deck in version 1.0.1, where the game doesn’t allow insecure HTTP. Version 1.0.2 hid the duplicate rules text behind the image.
